Ideogram 4.5
Precision multi-turn image editing without edit drift.
About
Ideogram 4.5, released September 30, 2026, is built around one persistent failure mode of AI image editing: quality degradation across repeated edits. The model is engineered to change only the region the user specifies while leaving everything else untouched at full sharpness, making multi-turn revision practical instead of forcing regeneration after each instruction. It works on sources up to 4016x6016 pixels without downscaling and supports up to four reference images for style control.
The feature set targets studio production: recoloring objects with recalculated shadows and reflections, swapping materials, editing or translating text inside an image while preserving the original font, and restoring old photographs in stages. Pricing spans four quality tiers from $0.008 to $0.22 per image at native 2K. An open-weight version has been announced but is not yet available. Comparisons against rival models are Ideogram's own, so independent benchmarking remains thin.
