Marble (World Labs)
Fei-Fei Li's 3D world model: text, images, or video in, explorable persistent 3D worlds out.
Acquired — still operating
Marble (World Labs) was acquired and continues to operate.
About
Marble is World Labs' commercial 3D world model, launched publicly in November 2025. It turns text prompts, images, video, or coarse 3D layouts into persistent, explorable 3D environments that can be edited, expanded, combined, and exported as Gaussian splats, meshes, or video. A Chisel sculpting mode lets users block out structure with simple shapes before the model fills in detail, and a pay-per-use World API for developers followed in January 2026.
The company became one of the biggest AI stories of 2026 when AMD agreed to acquire it for about $8.2 billion in stock, with Fei-Fei Li becoming AMD's chief scientist; the deal was expected to close by end of 2026 pending regulatory approval. Pricing is credit-based: a free tier with four generations, then $20, $35, and $95 monthly tiers, with commercial rights on Pro and above.

Use cases
Trust score — 9/10
Scored 9/10 (verified tier, metrics-v1). Evidence: public product since Nov 2025 with documented pricing and API; the $8.2B AMD acquisition agreement (Sep 2026) widely reported; founded by Fei-Fei Li. Strengths: first commercial persistent-3D world model, real exports (splats, meshes, video), serious backing. Docked for: (1) acquisition pending regulatory approval, so the product roadmap under AMD is uncertain; (2) no independent benchmarks, and performance claims are company-run. License: proprietary commercial.
