SeaLLMs-v3-7B

SeaLLMs-v3-7B is a 7-billion-parameter multilingual language model from the SeaLLMs project at DAMO Academy Singapore (Sea AI Lab), optimized for Southeast Asian languages including Vietnamese, Indonesian, Thai, Malay, Khmer, Lao, Tagalog, Burmese, Chinese, and English. The v3 generation, whose chat variant was announced in July 2024, improved multilingual math reasoning and trustworthiness with reduced hallucination.

On multilingual math (MGSM) it outperformed comparable 7B models across English, Chinese, Indonesian, Malay, Thai, and Vietnamese. Weights are released openly under the project's custom SeaLLMs Terms of Use (not an OSI-approved license), which is flagged here for anyone planning commercial deployment. A chat-tuned variant, SeaLLMs-v3-7B-Chat, is also available.
