About
Reka Flash is the efficiency tuned member of Reka AI's multimodal model family, publicly launched in February 2024. With 21 billion parameters trained on a reported 5 trillion tokens, it handles text, images, video, and audio while remaining light enough for low latency serving and, with quantization, on device deployment.
Flash became the default model behind Reka's chat product and later powered Reka Nexus, the company's enterprise AI workforce platform announced in 2026. In 2025 Reka also released Flash 3, a separate open source reasoning model that is distinct from the proprietary Flash line covered here.
