Parler-TTS Mini v1
880M open TTS model that clones voices from natural-language descriptions.
About
Parler-TTS Mini v1 is an 880-million-parameter text-to-speech model released on August 8, 2024, alongside Parler-TTS Large. Developed as a fully open-source reproduction of natural-language-guided TTS research, it generates natural-sounding speech in the style described by a text prompt (gender, pitch, speaking rate, emotion), trained on 45,000 hours of audiobook data.
All datasets, preprocessing, training code, and weights are public under permissive licensing, with SDPA and Flash Attention 2 support for fast generation. It became a go-to lightweight open voice for narration, audiobooks, and voice agents.
