Imagen 4 Ultra is Google's top image tier, available as imagen-4.0-ultra-generate-001 since June 2025. It is the same Imagen 4 model run at maximum quality: native 2K output, cleaner textures and lighting, and sharper text and logo rendering than the Standard tier.
It costs $0.06 per image, $0.02 more than Standard, which third-party head-to-head tests in 2026 judged worth paying for public-facing work. Imagen 4 Fast sits below at $0.02 for volume generation. Like the rest of the Imagen line it is API-only with no published weights, and it ships with SynthID watermarking.
