HUMAIN M3
Saudi Arabia's 428B Arabic frontier model, built on MiniMax M3.
About
HUMAIN M3 (humain-m3) is Saudi Arabia's national AI model, unveiled September 3, 2026, at the LEAP conference in Riyadh by HUMAIN, the PIF-backed AI company. It is a 428-billion-parameter mixture-of-experts model with 23B active parameters per token, natively multimodal across text, image, and video, and positioned as an Arabic-first frontier system with frontier tool use and computer-use capabilities for long-horizon agentic workflows.
The launch drew wide coverage for what it is built on: HUMAIN commissioned MiniMax to deliver the model on the MiniMax-M3 lineage, then further pre-trained it on over one trillion Arabic-native tokens. HUMAIN reported the highest average score among frontier systems on seven public Arabic benchmarks (89.37%, company-reported). It is available as a research preview via HUMAIN Node, with open weights planned under the MiniMax Community License after safety training.
