About

Face++ is Megvii's public face API platform, one of the longest-running commercial face APIs (developer platform since the early 2010s, with a reported ~600,000 active developers). It offers Face Detect (bounding boxes, tokens, landmarks and attributes for the five largest faces), Face Compare for 1:1 verification, Face Search over managed FaceSets, and Face Analyze for age, gender, emotion, and beauty attributes.

Pricing is refreshingly transparent: every API works on a free key at shared QPS (3 for face recognition), and pay-as-you-go calls run from $0.0001 (FaceSet ops) to $0.002 (Compare/Search) per call.
