CodeLlama-34B-Instruct is Meta's August 2023 instruction-tuned code generation model, the largest of the original Code Llama instruct line. Trained on code-heavy data with additional long-context fine-tuning, it handles code completion, infilling, debugging, and technical chat.
Released under the Llama 2 Community License, it was for a long stretch the strongest openly available code model and remains a solid self-hosted choice for code assistants and IDE backends.
