ALLaM 34B is the flagship of the ALLaM family of Arabic-focused language models introduced by the Saudi Data and AI Authority (SDAIA). The 34B model was adopted by HUMAIN, the PIF-backed Saudi AI company, to power HUMAIN Chat, a conversational app launched in August 2025 tailored for Arab and Muslim users with attention to regional dialects and cultural nuance. HUMAIN describes it as trained on over 8 petabytes of Arabic-centric data.
Independent UI-level evaluations report strong performance on modern standard Arabic, dialect fidelity, code-switching, and safety. Unlike most entries in this catalog, ALLaM 34B is closed: there are no public weights or API, and access is through the HUMAIN Chat app on web, iOS, and Android.
