VoltAgent
Open-source TypeScript framework for building and orchestrating AI agents.
About
VoltAgent is an open-source TypeScript framework for building AI agent applications, positioned as an end-to-end AI agent engineering platform. Its core runtime lets developers define agents with typed roles, tools, memory, and model providers, coordinate multi-agent systems under supervisors, and run declarative multi-step workflows.
The framework supports MCP for standardized tool interactions, durable memory adapters, RAG retriever agents, resumable streaming, and swapping between OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, and other providers by config change. A companion VoltOps Console adds observability, evals, guardrails, prompts, and deployment for production agent operations.
What it can do
- Typed agent definitions with tools, memory, and providers
- Supervisor-coordinated multi-agent systems
- Declarative workflow engine
- MCP tool registry integration
- VoltOps observability and evals console
