About
Tyk is an open-source-friendly API gateway company that has built a dedicated AI management layer. Tyk AI Studio provides an AI gateway that proxies multiple LLM providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, Bedrock, Ollama, and others) with authentication, budget enforcement, rate limiting, usage analytics, and scriptable content filtering. A Community Edition runs via Docker Compose with no license.
Alongside it, Tyk MCP Gateway puts API governance in front of remote MCP servers, with OAuth 2.1-compliant auth, per-tool access control, rate limiting, and unified credential management for AI agents.
