About

Triple Whale is the analytics and attribution platform for Shopify DTC brands, used by more than 50,000 ecommerce companies per 2026 industry coverage. Its first-party pixel captures purchase data directly from the store and ties it back to ad clicks across Meta, Google, TikTok, Snapchat, and Pinterest. Where most tools report ROAS, Triple Whale factors in ad spend, shipping, COGS, and returns to show actual profit per channel, campaign, and creative.

The Moby AI layer generates budget reallocation suggestions and creative briefs grounded in the brand's own conversion data. There is a free Founders Dash, with paid tiers starting around $129-179/mo and scaling with GMV. The main limitation is its Shopify focus: WooCommerce or custom storefronts are not a fit. It also exposes Data-In and Data-Out REST APIs with OAuth2 and API key authentication.

What it can do

  • Triple Pixel first-party purchase attribution
  • Blended profit metrics: net profit, ROAS, MER, LTV
  • Moby AI for budget reallocation and creative briefs
  • Cohort analysis and LTV reporting
  • Creative Cockpit and FinHub financial dashboards
  • Data-In and Data-Out REST APIs with OAuth2

Setup

  1. Sign up at triplewhale.com; a free Founders Dash is available.
  2. Install the Shopify app and the Triple Pixel.
  3. Connect ad platforms (Meta, Google, TikTok).
  4. Review profit dashboards and Moby AI recommendations.

Trust score — 8/10

/10 trustVerified

Scored 8/10 (verified tier, metrics-v1). Evidence: 50,000+ ecommerce brands using the platform per 2026 industry coverage; Triple Pixel and Moby AI described consistently across reviews; free Founders Dash plus paid tiers from ~$129/mo scaling with GMV (multiple third-party trackers); Data-In/Data-Out APIs documented with OAuth2. Strengths: dominant Shopify DTC position, profit-level metrics, public API. Docked for: (1) brand count and Moby AI effectiveness are vendor/press-reported; (2) Shopify-only fit excludes a large share of ecommerce. License: proprietary.
