About
Traceable AI is an API security and observability platform whose TraceAI machine learning technology learns normal application behavior from distributed tracing data to detect anomalies and block threats. Built on the open-source Hypertrace project, it covers API discovery, posture management, runtime protection, and testing across the DevSecOps lifecycle.
Founded in 2018 by AppDynamics founder Jyoti Bansal and Sanjay Nagaraj, the company raised a $60 million Series B led by IVP and Tiger Global at a valuation above $450 million (press-reported). In 2025 Traceable merged with Harness to build an AI-native DevSecOps platform. It offers a free tier with AI and ML-based anomaly detection.
