ToolJet
Open-source low-code framework for building and deploying internal tools.
About
ToolJet is an open-source low-code platform for building internal tools such as admin panels, CRUD dashboards, support consoles, and back-office screens. Teams assemble a UI from around 50 drag-and-drop components, wire each one to queries against their own Postgres, MySQL, MongoDB, REST API, or one of 50 or more other connectors, and run the result behind their own login.
Its appeal is self-hosting: the screens it builds touch customer records, payments, and PII, so the source code and credentials stay in your infrastructure. JavaScript and Python transformations run on query results, credentials are encrypted, and apps can be versioned with release cycles. The community edition is the open-source core; ToolJet AI builds on it as the enterprise app-generation layer.
What it can do
- Visual app builder with ~50 components and mobile/desktop layouts
- 50+ connectors for databases, APIs, SaaS tools, and object storage
- JavaScript and Python transformations on query results
- Self-hostable community edition; versioned apps with granular access control
Setup
Self-host with Docker Compose or Helm, or create a ToolJet Cloud account; connect datasources and build in the visual app builder.
Prerequisites
