About

Tome launched in 2022 as an AI presentation tool with a distinctive tile-based format that read more like an interactive web page than a slide deck. Typing a prompt generated a full narrative with layouts, copy, and AI-generated images, and it grew quickly on the strength of that storytelling approach. In October 2024 the company pivoted toward sales and marketing automation, and by March 2025 the presentation product was discontinued entirely.

Tome is now positioned as an AI assistant for sales, with features for account research, meeting preparation, and personalization. It is included here as a historical entry: a reminder of how fast the AI presentation category consolidated, with Gamma, Beautiful.ai, and Presentations.AI absorbing the demand Tome created. Anyone looking for the original storytelling product will not find it anymore.

What it can do

  • Prompt-to-presentation generation (historical, discontinued)
  • Tile-based interactive storytelling format (historical, discontinued)
