About

TextileGenesis is a traceability platform purpose-built for fashion and textiles. It assigns Fibercoins, digital tokens representing certified material, at the fiber origin and tracks them through every production stage, so brands can verify the provenance and sustainability claims of what ends up in a garment. It covers textiles, leather goods, and footwear, with fiber-forward, product-backward, and rapid supply-chain mapping modes.

The platform underpins Textile Exchange's eTrackit system for certified materials and is used across hundreds of brands and tens of thousands of supply chain partners, per the company's own reporting. Founded in 2018, it is now part of Lectra, and supports compliance with regulations such as the EU Digital Product Passport and the US forced-labor prevention rules.
