Teamflow
A productivity-first virtual office — video bubbles on a floor plan with spatial audio and built-in work apps.
About
Teamflow is the virtual office built by a productivity obsessive. Founded in 2020 by ex-Uber engineering leader Florent Crivello — and launched in 2021 under the name Huddle before rebranding — it deliberately chose work over whimsy: 'We're not Pokémon kind of fun,' Crivello told press at launch. You appear as a video bubble on a floor plan, drag yourself near someone to talk (spatial audio does the rest), and persistent rooms hold the whiteboards, countdown timers and docs your team actually uses.
The company raised about $50 million in total: a $3.9 million seed led by Menlo Ventures, an $11 million Series A led by Battery Ventures, and a $35 million Series B led by Coatue. Notably for a video product, Teamflow claims it neither records nor stores audio and video streams, using TLS and AES media encryption instead. Distribution is straightforward — Mac and Windows apps with mobile in beta — and pricing historically included a free tier for up to 5 users with $15 per user per month beyond that.

Trust score — 6/10
Scored 6/10 (TIER metrics, metrics-v1). Evidence: founding (2020, ex-Uber Florent Crivello), Huddle→Teamflow rename, and ~$50M across seed/A/B rounds verified by VC press and Craft; product tour details from launch coverage. Strengths: genuinely differentiated work-focused design, strong privacy posture (no stream storage), serious funding. Docked for: (1) modest public traction — no user numbers published, thin independent review coverage; (2) pricing and plan details are stale and sparsely documented; (3) crowded virtual-office category with better-funded rivals. License: proprietary SaaS; free up to 5 users, paid tiers from ~$15/user/month.
