About

Tavus lets you record about two minutes of video to create a photorealistic digital twin, then generate thousands of personalized talking-head videos from scripts, with AI lip-sync that pronounces each viewer's name, company, and details naturally. Its Conversational Video Interface (CVI) goes further: real-time face-to-face AI humans that see, hear, and respond with natural turn-taking, powered by its Phoenix-4.5 rendering model plus perception and turn-taking models. The main use cases are sales outreach, onboarding, customer support, and training, with 30+ languages and API-first CRM integrations.

Personal replicas require a paid plan; the free tier only covers stock replicas for testing. Like all likeness-cloning tools, it raises consent questions, and Tavus gates personal replicas behind identity verification. Video minutes are the billing unit, so high-volume outreach gets expensive quickly, and enterprise compliance (SOC 2, HIPAA) sits on the top tier.
