Tactiq

Bot-free live transcription from a Chrome extension.

Visit official site →

About

Tactiq takes a different approach from most meeting assistants: instead of sending a bot into your call, it captures live captions directly from a Chrome extension as people speak, then generates AI summaries you can export to Google Docs or Notion. There is no recording, which keeps things private and lightweight.

The free plan covers 10 transcripts a month, and Pro at $8/user/month billed annually gives unlimited transcripts — genuinely good value. The limitations are structural: it is Chrome-centric, covers only Google Meet, Zoom, and Teams, and cannot handle in-person or offline conversations.

What it can do

  • Live in-meeting transcription with no meeting bot
  • 60+ languages with automatic detection
  • AI summaries with custom templates
  • AI Workflows for repetitive post-meeting tasks
  • Exports to Google Docs, Notion, Slack, and HubSpot
  • MCP and Claude Connector on Business tier

Setup

  1. Install the Tactiq extension from the Chrome Web Store
  2. Create a Tactiq account
  3. Join a Google Meet, Zoom, or Teams call in Chrome
  4. Watch the live transcript appear in the side panel
  5. Click Generate AI Summary and export to Docs or Notion

Prerequisites

Google Chrome browser and a Google Meet, Zoom, or Teams account
