StyleSage
AI-powered competitive benchmarking for fashion: assortment, pricing, and trend intelligence across the market.
Acquired — still operating
Acquired by Centric Software in November 2022; now part of the Centric Market Intelligence platform rather than a standalone product.
About
StyleSage was an AI analytics platform for fashion, beauty, and home retail. It crawled thousands of retailers and tens of millions of products, using image recognition and machine learning to deconstruct pricing, assortment, and promotion strategies, and to spot emerging style trends on social media paired with search behavior.
Founded in New York in 2013 by Jade Huang and Robert Figiel, the company worked with retailers such as ASOS, Zalando, and Neiman Marcus. In November 2022 Centric Software acquired StyleSage, folding it into the Centric Market Intelligence platform alongside Centric PLM and Planning.

Trust score — 7/10
Scored 7/10 (TIER metrics, metrics-v1). Evidence: Centric Software's November 2022 acquisition confirmed via the vendor's own press release and trade press; named clients (ASOS, Zalando, Neiman Marcus) and scale figures (1000+ retailers, 31M products) reported across coverage; founder and founding story well documented. Strengths: strong client roster, real acquisition outcome, recognized press coverage. Docked for: (1) standalone product folded into Centric, so independent pricing and access are no longer published; (2) market-coverage figures are company-reported. License: acquired; proprietary.
