About
Statice was a Berlin data-privacy company founded in 2018 by Sebastian Weyer and Mikhail Dyakov. Its anonymization engine used deep learning to generate synthetic datasets that preserved the statistical properties of the originals while claiming full anonymity, aimed at finance, insurance, and healthcare teams that needed to share or analyze sensitive data under GDPR.
In November 2022 Anonos acquired Statice and folded the synthetic-data technology into its Data Embassy platform; the standalone statice.ai site no longer resolves.
