SpyCloud

Identity threat protection powered by data recaptured from the criminal underground.

About

SpyCloud's differentiator is how it gets its data: instead of indexing what is already public on criminal marketplaces, it infiltrates criminal communities directly and recaptures stolen identity data at the source, infostealer malware logs, phishing campaign output, combolists, and breach data, earlier in the attack lifecycle. The company says it has recaptured more than one trillion identity assets since its 2016 founding, with 65.7 billion distinct identity records in its current data lake, including tens of millions of exposed API keys, tokens, and session artifacts.

That intelligence feeds automated remediation: integrations with identity providers, EDR, SIEM, and SOAR platforms revoke stolen sessions, reset exposed credentials, and quarantine infected devices before stolen access is weaponized. Its 2026 Identity Exposure Report documents the structural shift toward non-human identity theft, with attackers stealing session cookies and API keys to bypass MFA entirely. SpyCloud also runs Cybercrime Investigations with agentic AI workflows and collaborates with law enforcement including the FBI and Europol, per the company. Data scale figures are vendor-reported.

What it can do

  • Recaptured identity data from criminal sources
  • 1T+ identity assets, 65.7B distinct records (vendor-reported)
  • Automated session revocation and credential resets
  • Infostealer, phishing, and combolist coverage
  • Non-human identity exposure (API keys, session tokens)
  • IdP, EDR, SIEM, and SOAR integrations
  • Cybercrime Investigations with agentic AI

Setup

  1. Engage via spycloud.com to scope Workforce, Consumer, or Investigations coverage.
  2. Connect your IdP (Okta, Entra ID), EDR, SIEM, and SOAR via native integrations.
  3. Define automated remediation policies: session revocation, credential resets, device quarantine.
  4. Monitor exposure dashboards and the annual Identity Exposure Report for trend data.

Prerequisites

Identity provider and security stack access for integrations; defined incident-response owners for automated remediation actions.

Trust score — 8/10

/10 trustVerified

Scored 8/10 (TIER verified, metrics-v1). Evidence: founded 2016, decade of operation; one-trillion-assets milestone announced Jul 2026 via GlobeNewswire; annual Identity Exposure Report widely cited; law-enforcement collaboration (FBI, Europol, WEF Cybercrime Atlas) per company; Fortune 10 customer testimonials. Strengths: genuinely differentiated data-collection model, decade of compounding data advantage, automation closes the compromise-to-remediation window. Docked for: (1) data-scale figures are vendor-reported and not independently auditable; (2) proprietary data model means customers cannot verify coverage outside SpyCloud's own reporting. License: proprietary.
