Splice
AI-assisted music creation — match loops by key/BPM, stack sounds, export to your DAW.
About
Splice is the music producer's sample library (millions of royalty-free loops, one-shots, and presets) that has grown an AI-powered “Create” mode on top. Create matches loops to your key and tempo, lets you stack compatible sounds into layered arrangements, and can even start from a loop you upload yourself, then exports stems or MIDI into your DAW. It removes the crate-digging grind from beat-making: describe a vibe or drop in a reference loop and audition combinations in minutes.
The honest picture: Splice is a subscription on top of tools you already own — the samples are royalty-free but non-exclusive, so the same loop can appear in someone else's track. The AI matching is genuinely useful for speed, but arrangement taste, mixing, and finishing still happen in your DAW. Heavy users should also note that costs scale with credits/plans, and offline use of the library is limited by licensing terms.
