About
Sketchfab is the largest 3D asset platform on the web, used to publish, share, and discover 3D, VR, and AR content. Its WebGL/WebXR viewer renders models, animations, VR, and AR directly in any browser and can be embedded in external sites.
With 6 million users and millions of models, it is the reference library for game and AR developers. Lifecycle note: Epic Games acquired Sketchfab in 2021, merged its store into the Fab marketplace in 2024, and sold Sketchfab and ArtStation to KitBash in August 2026.
