RTX Voice
Historical: the AI noise-removal app that made RTX GPUs famous for calls.
About
NVIDIA RTX Voice was a 2020 application that used AI running on GPU Tensor Cores to strip background noise from microphone input and incoming audio. Keyboard clatter, fan hum, and room chatter vanished in real time across Discord, Zoom, OBS, and other apps via virtual audio devices.
The standalone app was folded into NVIDIA Broadcast, where it lives on as the Noise Removal effect alongside AI video features. RTX Voice remains a landmark in consumer AI audio, and the beta still circulates for older GTX cards that Broadcast does not support.
What it can do
- AI background noise suppression
- Virtual mic and speaker devices
- Works with any microphone
- Folded into NVIDIA Broadcast
Setup
Superseded by NVIDIA Broadcast; legacy installers require driver 410.18 or newer on Windows.
