About
Robusta is the company behind HolmesGPT, a CNCF Sandbox open-source AI agent that connects AI models with live observability data to investigate infrastructure problems, find root causes, and suggest remediations. It works across Kubernetes, VMs, cloud services, databases, and SaaS platforms with read-only access that respects RBAC.
HolmesGPT ships with 30+ data-source toolsets covering Kubernetes, Prometheus, Grafana, and more, plus integrations with AlertManager, PagerDuty, OpsGenie, Jira, and Slack. An Operator Mode runs health checks 24/7 and messages teams in Slack when it spots trouble. Originally created by Robusta.dev with major contributions from Microsoft, it installs via Homebrew or Helm and supports OpenAI, Anthropic, and Azure model providers.

Setup
