Rillet
AI-native ERP that closes the books in hours, not weeks.
About
Rillet is an AI-native ERP platform built for modern finance teams, founded in 2021 by Nicolas Kopp, formerly US CEO of the neobank N26, and Stelios Modes, the technical architect behind N26's payment infrastructure. Instead of digitizing legacy accounting workflows, it was built agent-first: AI agents handle transaction coding, bank reconciliation and continuous close in parallel from source systems, with a smart general ledger, automated revenue recognition, multi-entity consolidation and GAAP reporting.
The funding pace has been extraordinary: a $13.5 million seed in July 2024, a $25 million Series A led by Sequoia in May 2025, a $70 million Series B co-led by Andreessen Horowitz and ICONIQ in August 2025, and a $100 million Series C in August 2026 at a $1 billion valuation. Customer count grew from over 200 at Series B to more than 600 at Series C, with ARR doubling in the quarters before each round. Rillet holds SOC 1 Type II certification and has partnered with top accounting firms Armanino and Wiss, plus an alliance with EY announced in April 2026.
The company targets mid-market tech companies with complex revenue models that feel stuck between QuickBooks and NetSuite. Its headline customer story, Mercor managing over $2 billion in ARR with a three-person finance team, is company-reported and should be read as marketing, but the direction of travel is clear: finance headcount that no longer scales linearly with revenue.
