Resumx Resume Skills
Research-backed resume-writing skills for agents
About
Two research-backed resume skills: resume-writing gives agents data-driven rules for resume content — bullet composition, quantification, ATS-tested word choice, job-description tailoring, gendered-language checks — with each rule traced to a study (NBER hiring outcomes, 10k+ ATS scans, eye-tracking research). The second skill teaches the Resumx Markdown-resume format so AI edits stop breaking the PDF layout. The strength is that every rule cites evidence rather than opinion. The limitation is scope: resumes only — and it can tell the agent what good copy looks like, but it can't supply the user's real achievements.
What it can do
- resume-writing: bullet composition (XYZ, So what?, show don't tell)
- Quantification and scale anchoring
- ATS-tested word choice with causal framing
- Job-description tailoring and keyword placement
- Gendered-language bias checks
- resumx: Markdown resume syntax, CLI, and page fitting
- Multi-language resume output
- Every rule cites a study (NBER, TheLadders, ATS scan data)
