About

Qwiet AI is the rebranded ShiftLeft, the application security company that built its platform around the Code Property Graph, a multi-dimensional representation of a codebase that captures components, libraries, data flows, and control flows in one queryable graph. The preZero platform applies AI and ML to that graph to find zero-day and pre-zero-day vulnerabilities, with the vendor claiming dramatically lower false positives than traditional SAST because findings are grounded in actual data flow rather than pattern matching. New detections are verified by Qwiet's security research team before being flagged, and the results feed back into the ML models.

One scan covers SAST, software composition analysis, SBOM generation, secrets detection, license compliance, and container scanning, and the platform plugs into IDEs, version control, and CI/CD pipelines so developers get feedback where they work. The Blacklight threat feed adds exploit, threat-actor, and ransomware context to findings. The company says its AI engine was trained on six-plus years of real-world analysis data and that customers average a full source-code scan per day at about 90 seconds per scan. CEO Stuart McClure has pushed the platform toward agentic AI that can identify, prioritize, and in some cases remediate vulnerabilities with business-context awareness. Competitive claims against Snyk and others on vendor comparison pages should be read as marketing.

What it can do

  • Code Property Graph based static analysis across the full codebase
  • SAST, SCA, SBOM, secrets detection, license compliance, container scanning in one scan
  • AI/ML detection of zero-day and pre-zero-day vulnerabilities with human verification
  • Reachability-ranked prioritization to cut false positives
  • Blacklight threat-intelligence feed on findings
  • IDE, VCS, and CI/CD integrations with remediation guidance

Setup

  1. Sign up at qwiet.ai and connect your source repositories.
  2. Add the preZero scan to your CI/CD pipeline (language, platform, and CI agnostic per the vendor).
  3. Review the prioritized, reachability-ranked findings in the dashboard or IDE plugin.
  4. Follow the remediation guidance and re-scan to confirm fixes; consult Blacklight for threat context.

Prerequisites

A Qwiet AI account; access to the source repositories and CI pipelines to be scanned.

Trust score — 6/10

/10 trustVerified

Scored 6/10 (verified tier, metrics-v1). Evidence: ShiftLeft rebrand to Qwiet AI documented (AI-TechPark); preZero platform and Code Property Graph approach detailed in CIO Bulletin profile and Computer Weekly; qwiet.ai verified live. Strengths: differentiated CPG-based analysis, all-in-one scan (SAST+SCA+secrets+containers), human verification loop on AI findings. Docked for: (1) zero-day and false-positive claims are vendor-reported, no independent benchmark found; (2) proprietary commercial platform, no public pricing or adoption metrics. License: proprietary.
