It draws on the Postman API Network, with APIs from over 18,000 companies, so agents get verified, working tools instead of hand-written boilerplate. Built-in testing covers prompt and model evaluation across OpenAI, Gemini, Claude, Cohere, and Llama.
Postman extended the agentic story at POST/CON 2025 with Agent Mode, an MCP request type, the ability to generate MCP servers directly from collections, and a curated MCP Server Network. The company reports over 40 million developers on its platform, making this the most widely distributed agent-builder surface in the API ecosystem.
