PlantDoctor
On-device AI leaf-disease scanner for farmers and gardeners
About
PlantDoctor is an Android app that scans a plant leaf with the phone camera and identifies diseases using an AI model that runs entirely on the device, so it works with no internet connection. It reports disease name, confidence, severity and treatment guidance (organic and chemical), and includes a browsable encyclopedia of the supported diseases.
Its real strength is the offline-first design for low-connectivity farming regions and the fact it needs no account. The honest limitation: as a small-developer app with limited public verification, its disease library is finite and it can't replace a trained agronomist for unusual cases.
What it can do
- on-device AI leaf scanning
- 105 supported diseases across popular crops
- severity and confidence ratings

- CSV scan-history export
- 30+ language support
Setup
- Install PlantDoctor from the Google Play Store
- Open the app and tap Scan a Leaf
- Point the camera at a leaf or import a photo
- Read the disease result, treatment guidance and save the scan history
