Photolemur
Fully automatic AI photo enhancer; superseded by Skylum Luminar.
About
Photolemur was the first fully automatic AI photo enhancement app: drop in a photo and its neural networks analyze faces, objects, sky, and foliage, then apply exposure, color, and detail corrections with no sliders to touch. Launched in 2017, it won a 2018 Red Dot award for design and grew to over 130,000 users, with batch processing of up to 200 images for event and wedding photographers.
This is a historical entry. Skylum folded Photolemur's technology into Luminar and no longer updates the app; its own comparison page recommends Luminar as the modern replacement with both automatic and manual tools. Photolemur 3 keys still circulate through resellers at around $30-35, but buyers should expect outdated software with no support. It belongs in the catalog as a milestone in consumer AI photo editing rather than a current recommendation.
