Pangea
Security APIs for developers: AI guardrails, redaction, and vault.
About
Pangea delivers security as composable API-first services that developers call over REST: authentication, a tamper-proof Secure Audit Log, Redact, Vault for secrets, File Scan, IP/domain/URL intelligence, and Embargo screening. The pitch is that app teams get enterprise security primitives without building them.
For AI workloads Pangea ships AI Guard and Prompt Guard, which prevent sensitive data leakage in LLM interactions, block jailbreak and prompt injection attempts using heuristics plus custom-trained classifiers, and detect over 50 types of PII. The company, founded by Oliver Friedrichs and backed by GV, ran a $10,000 jailbreak competition to harden its detection models.
