npx skills
The open CLI for discovering and installing agent skills.
About
npx skills is the open-source CLI from Vercel Labs (vercel-labs/skills on GitHub) that powers the agent-skills ecosystem. It lets developers discover, install, and use Agent Skills across coding agents: npx skills add <org>/<repo> installs a skill, and npx skills use <skill> | claude pipes a skill into an agent without installing.
The tool supports OpenCode, Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, and dozens more agents, and is published as the skills npm package. With over 34,000 GitHub stars and an MIT license, it is the reference implementation of the open Agent Skills standard that vendors like Apollo, Dart, and Hugging Face publish to.
