Nebius
Neocloud AI infrastructure — GPU capacity at hyperscale, now backed by a $17.4B Microsoft deal.
About
Nebius Group (Nasdaq: NBIS) is an Amsterdam-headquartered neocloud — a cloud provider specializing entirely in GPU compute for AI workloads — formed in 2024 from the non-Russian assets of Yandex after its split, led by founder and CEO Arkady Volozh. It operates GPU clusters across Finland, France, the UK, Iceland, Israel, and the US, rolling out H200 and Blackwell-class hardware, and launched Nebius AI Cloud 3.0 "Aether" plus a Token Factory for enterprise AI deployments.
In 2025–2026 Nebius signed some of the largest AI infrastructure deals ever: a five-year, $17.4 billion agreement with Microsoft (expandable to $19.4 billion) for dedicated GPU capacity from a new 300MW Vineland, New Jersey data center, a $3 billion Meta contract over five years, and a $2 billion NVIDIA investment targeting 5+ gigawatts of AI capacity by 2030. Q3 revenue was up 355% to $146 million with 90% from core AI infrastructure, and the company targets $7–9 billion in annualized run-rate revenue by end of 2026.
Limitation: Nebius is primarily an enterprise/hyperscaler-facing capacity provider — indie developers will find RunPod, Lambda, or Vast.ai more accessible for small workloads — and its economics depend on successfully financing and filling massive build-outs, with contract-backed debt adding leverage risk if demand softens.
