About

Miro is the leading online collaborative whiteboard, built around an infinite canvas used for brainstorming, user journey mapping, retrospectives, and planning across distributed teams. It ships with hundreds of templates and over 160 integrations with tools like Jira, Microsoft 365, and Zoom.

Miro AI is the built-in suite of AI features: it generates images from text, summarizes and clusters sticky notes by keyword and sentiment, drafts user stories, expands mind maps with ideas based on a selected node, removes image backgrounds, and can even generate code from a selected widget or visualize complexity with sequence diagrams. It is available in multiple languages, and Miro states that customer content is not used to train models and prompts are purged after use. There is a free plan, with AI availability depending on the plan tier. Miro is a collaboration tool first — you will still need a design tool like Figma afterward for interface work.
