md-writer
Knowledge-base markdown with frontmatter, Mermaid diagrams, and a lint-clean finish.
About
md-writer is a documentation skill from the skrrt-sh collection that writes knowledge-base markdown with YAML frontmatter, Mermaid diagrams, and related-document links, then runs a bundled markdownlint validator that auto-fixes mechanical rules.
It deliberately skips repo meta files like README and CLAUDE.md. The honest limitation: it is a 2-star project whose validator requires Node 22+, and missing tooling is an explicit hard failure rather than a graceful fallback.
What it can do
- Knowledge-base markdown authoring
- YAML frontmatter
- Mermaid diagrams
- markdownlint validation with auto-fix
- Docs-only lint scoping
Setup
- Run: npx skills add skrrt-sh/skills (pick md-writer and your agents)
- Or in Claude Code: /plugin marketplace add skrrt-sh/skills then /plugin install docs@skrrt
- Invoke with /md-writer followed by the doc topic.
Prerequisites
Node.js 22+ for the bundled validator. gh/glab for forge-adjacent flows.
