About
Magnific is a generative AI image upscaler and enhancer. Unlike traditional super-resolution, it runs a diffusion pass over your image, hallucinating plausible new detail: a Creativity slider controls how much the AI is allowed to invent, from faithful cleanup to full reimagining of textures, hair, and surfaces.
Freepik acquired Magnific in May 2024 and rebranded its whole creative toolset under the Magnific name in April 2026 at magnific.com. The upscaler now lives inside Freepik's unified credit-based platform alongside 30+ other creative AI models, with output up to 10K resolution. Plans start around $14.50 per month billed annually.
