Linkup
Production-grade web search and answer API for AI agents.
About
Linkup is a web search API built specifically for AI agents and LLMs. Its /search endpoint grounds model responses in live web context with three depth modes (fast, standard, deep) and returns ranked results, citation-backed sourced answers, or schema-driven structured output, with domain and date filters. Companion endpoints cover page fetching as LLM-ready markdown, async deep research, and credit balance.
It markets itself as the leading replacement for the retired Bing Search API for agents, citing SOC 2 Type II certification, zero data retention on all plans, and EU data residency. Third-party agent frameworks list it alongside Exa, Tavily, Perplexity, Parallel, and Brave as a selectable search provider. A 4,000-query free tier is offered with no credit card required.
What it can do
- Real-time web search with fast/standard/deep depth modes
- Citation-backed sourced answers
- Structured JSON output from web results
- Page fetching as LLM-ready markdown
