About

Inkeep is an AI support and agent platform purpose-built for developer-facing companies. It ingests documentation, help centers, GitHub issues, Discord and Slack conversations into a proprietary RAG engine, then serves answers through AI search, chat widgets, co-pilots embedded in support tools like Zendesk, and Slack/Discord bots. Every answer carries inline citations so users and agents can verify the source.

For developers, Inkeep exposes an OpenAI-compatible chat completions API that runs RAG over a customer's own content (with inkeep-qa, inkeep-context, inkeep-rag, and inkeep-base modes selected through the model field), plus an analytics API for conversations and feedback, and an agent builder with multi-agent architecture and 2-way code/UI sync. It is proprietary SaaS with a free tier for small projects and growth pricing around $600/month. A documented limitation: it is fully managed only, with no self-hosting option.

What it can do

  • OpenAI-compatible RAG chat completions API over your content
  • AI search with hybrid keyword-plus-RAG retrieval
  • Zendesk co-pilot and Slack/Discord bot deployments
  • Inline citations on every answer with source links
  • Documentation gap analysis from real user questions

Setup

Sign up at inkeep.com, connect documentation and community sources for ingestion, then embed the search widget or call the OpenAI-compatible RAG API.
