Honeycomb Skills is the official agent-skills repository from Honeycomb, published at github.com/honeycombio/agent-skill. It bundles 9 skills covering observability fundamentals, query patterns, metrics queries, production investigation, SLOs and triggers, OpenTelemetry instrumentation and migration, Beeline migration, and board creation, plus two agents (honeycomb-investigator for autonomous multi-step debugging, instrumentation-advisor for instrumentation gaps) and a /honeycomb-setup command for MCP configuration.
It installs as a plugin marketplace for Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Augment, and GitHub Copilot CLI, with manual skill-plus-MCP paths for VS Code Copilot, Codex CLI, and Cline. A third-party snapshot put the repo at 22 stars. Limitation: live querying needs the Honeycomb MCP server configured and a Honeycomb account, and scenario tests in the repo require an API key.
