About

DX is a developer intelligence platform founded in 2020 by Abi Noda and Greyson Junggren that helps engineering leaders measure productivity, find bottlenecks, and track the adoption and impact of AI tooling. Built around research-backed frameworks like DORA, SPACE, and the DevEx index, it combines workflow data with developer surveys so teams get a full picture without feeling surveilled.

DX tripled its customer base every year after emerging from stealth in 2022, serving 350+ enterprises including ADP, Adyen, and GitHub on less than $5 million in venture funding. In September 2025 Atlassian agreed to acquire DX for about $1 billion in cash and stock, its largest acquisition ever, to close the visibility gap on enterprise AI investments. This is a historical entry: DX now operates under Atlassian.
