Figma Official Skills
Figma's official agent skills for design-to-code workflows.
About
The official skill pack from Figma covering the Dev Mode MCP workflows: running Figma Plugin API scripts, implementing designs in production code, generating designs from descriptions, building design-system libraries, and wiring Code Connect. It is the authoritative source for how agents should talk to Figma, straight from the vendor.
The catch: the skills are thin wrappers around the Dev Mode MCP server, so you still need that server configured and a Figma seat with Dev Mode access before any of it works.
What it can do
- Run Figma Plugin API scripts
- Implement Figma designs as production code
- Generate Figma designs from code or descriptions
- Build and audit design-system libraries
- Wire Code Connect between components and code
Setup
- Install the skill you need, e.g. npx skills add figma/figma-use
- For design implementation: npx skills add figma/figma-implement-design
- Configure the Figma Dev Mode MCP server per Figma's guide
- Restart your agent so the skill loads
