Figma Make
Prompt-to-code AI inside Figma that turns designs and text into working web apps.
About
Figma Make, launched at Config 2025 in May 2025, is Figma's AI-powered prompt-to-code tool. From the "+ Create" menu, users attach a frame or paste an image, type instructions like "make this navbar sticky" or "apply dark mode," and the AI generates both a visual preview and the underlying HTML, CSS, and JavaScript in real time, which can be tweaked inline and published as a live prototype URL. It competes directly with AI coding platforms like Replit and Lovable.
Make integrates with Figma's MCP server so AI models can access the underlying code from Make files, supported in Anthropic, Cursor, Windsurf, and VS Code tooling, and India became its largest market with over 800,000 prototypes generated by Indian users. Limitations: available in open beta only to Full-seat users on paid plans; usage limits apply during beta with final pricing still pending; and prototypes are starting points, not production-grade codebases.
What it can do

- MCP integration with Anthropic, Cursor, Windsurf, VS Code
