About
FastGPT is an AI agent building platform with out-of-the-box data processing and model calling, plus visual Flow orchestration for complex workflows. You build knowledge bases from your documents, wire up retrieval and LLM steps in a drag-and-drop editor, and ship chatbots or agent apps behind an API.
It deploys with Docker Compose and is popular for enterprise RAG deployments. Note the license: it's a custom FastGPT Open Source License — Apache 2.0 with additional conditions on certain commercial uses, so read it before commercializing.

Setup
- Install Docker and Docker Compose.
- Clone the FastGPT repo and run
docker compose up -d, following the guided prompts. - Open the web console and create an account.
- Create a knowledge base and upload your documents.
- Build an app with the Flow editor and publish it via the API.
