About
EverSQL is an AI-powered SQL optimizer for PostgreSQL and MySQL. You paste a slow query, pick your database type and platform, and its algorithms rewrite the SQL and recommend indexes, explaining exactly what changed. A lightweight, non-intrusive performance sensor installs in about a minute on your database server and monitors slow query logs on an ongoing basis, surfacing index suggestions, redundant-index removal, and schema simplification ideas through Slack or Jira. The vendor says over 100,000 engineers have used it, with customers reporting queries running about 25x faster on average.
EverSQL was acquired by Aiven, and its optimizer is now offered free through Aiven's SQL query optimizer tooling. The 25x and '140 hours saved weekly' figures are provider-reported, not independently benchmarked, and the sensor deliberately avoids reading sensitive data, which limits how deep its analysis can go.
