About
DreamStudio is the official browser-based image generation platform from Stability AI, launched alongside the original Stable Diffusion release in 2022. It offers text-to-image generation, image-to-image transformation, inpainting, outpainting, upscaling, and batch generation of up to 9 variations per prompt, with adjustable resolution, style presets, guidance scale, and seed controls.
It now runs on Stable Diffusion XL-class models, and Stability AI also open-sourced the underlying app as StableStudio on GitHub. Honest caveats: in April 2026 Stability AI folded DreamStudio into Brand Studio, its creative production platform, with dreamstudio.stability.ai redirecting path-for-path — users landing on the old brand should follow the redirect rather than expecting the standalone product to persist.
