DocuSeal
Open-source e-signature platform you can self-host or embed via API.
About
DocuSeal is an open-source document signing platform available as a hosted cloud service, a self-hostable application, or an embeddable API and SDK for developers. It supports legally binding electronic signatures, a WYSIWYG PDF form builder with a dozen field types, multiple signers per document, bulk sending, automated reminders, and payment collection during signing.
The core software is open source under AGPL-3.0, so teams can self-host for free, while paid tiers add branding, SSO and SAML, identity verification, and API access with webhooks. It targets SaaS products, CRMs, and onboarding or KYC workflows that need signing embedded directly in their own product, competing with DocuSign at a fraction of the operational complexity.
