About

Diffit is an AI differentiation tool for teachers: paste a topic, article, URL, PDF, or YouTube link and it generates a reading passage rewritten at the reading level you choose, complete with vocabulary, summaries, and comprehension questions. Its whole job is collapsing an hour of manual differentiation into about a minute.

It is the rare K-12 AI tool that commits to credible, cited sources, and it is FERPA and COPPA compliant with a genuinely free plan. The trade-offs: individual Premium is $14.99/month, which is steep next to competitors, and it does one job well rather than replacing a full lesson-planning suite.

What it can do

  • Reading-level adaptation of any source
  • Auto-generated comprehension questions
  • Vocabulary lists and summaries
  • 30+ language output for multilingual learners
  • Google Classroom integration
